Religion permeates the entire school day in all grades. Students pray together in the morning to begin their day, before and after lunch, before starting class, and to end the day before dismissal.
In 2nd grade, students are prepared to receive their first Reconciliation and first Eucharist.
Confirmation is received by the 8th grade in the fall and preparation begins in the 7th grade.
As a school, we attend Mass each month and homerooms take turns attending the 8:15 AM parish Mass each day.
Prayer services are celebrated for special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Veterans Day, and Respect for Life. Students attend the Stations of the Cross on Fridays in Lent and pay special honor to our Blessed Mother in a May Procession at the beginning of May.
The Living Rosary is presented by the 2nd grade in October and the Living Stations are dramatized by the 5th grade toward the end of Lent.
Students in grades 3-8 have an opportunity to receive Reconciliation three times a year: in September, during Advent, and during Lent.
