The mission statement of the Office of Catholic Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia boldly proclaims that:
Catholic Schools form Catholic students to be full and practicing members of the Church, are centers of evangelization that call all to live fully the message of Jesus Christ, and are centers of academic excellence that rigorously prepare students to be life-long learners and contributing members of the global community.
The curriculum guidelines formulated and distributed by the Office of Catholic Education and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia serve as the basis of all instruction at Visitation BVM School.
In addition to our regular Math standards put forth under the Core Curriculum, we also offer an Honors Math program for grades 4-8.
World Language is incorporated into the curriculum in grades K-8.
